What’s New in 2026?

With the new year, there have been a few changes at Corinium:

Currency:

We have recently switched our currency from using US dollars ($) to British pounds (£). We are aware that some people internationally feel more comfortable using dollars, but this was necessary for administrative reasons. The recent increased volatility of the dollar has also made things more difficult. The website and booking system should all now list prices in pounds, but it’s possible that something has been overlooked.

Some minor adjustments have also been made to the pricing formula, as seen in the following table for CAT:

Certificate in Arabic Teaching (CAT):

Schedule: As always, finding schedules that work across time zones has been an ongoing challenge. A recent increase in interest from North America and particularly the pacific coast region has put this into focus. We are trialling a a dual-timing course structure for our online CAT (Certificate in Arabic Teaching) that we feel makes the course accessible to the most people and we are quite excited to see where it leads.

Ramadan: With Ramadan coming up in mid-February, courses will be running until March 8th and then restarting once Ramadan is finished. As always, courses running during Ramadan (Module B) will be sensitive and flexible to the needs of our participants, with adjustments made to allow a break for Iftar.

Conferences:

IATEFL: For the second year running, Corinium will have an Exhibition Stand advertising CSLT (Certificate in Second Language Teaching) and other courses at the IATEFL Conference in Brighton from 21 – 24 April, 2026

New Products and Offerings

We are planning to introduce a series of information sessions, webinars and short online courses in the fields of Observation and Feedback, Classroom Wellbeing and Early Childhood Education. Please check the website for more details.

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2026, from all the staff at Corinium!
